Wonsuk Kim

I work on AI safety, computer vision, and privacy-preserving machine learning. Since September 2026 I work on the CTO staff at JYP Entertainment, bringing AI into entertainment tech. Before that I co-founded SAFE AI and led Vision AI and AI safety research as CTO for three years, running ten government R&D programs alongside enterprise delivery, and spent a decade on production systems, from delivery-app backends at Baemin to billing at Kakao, and finished a Ph.D. on nanophotonic inverse design.
